I’m a warm-weather person, so it’s highly unlikely I’ll ever visit the Arctic. But I don’t have to, now that I’ve copy edited In the Shadow of the Pole. This is a thorough and fascinating history of Canada’s Arctic exploration. I enjoyed working with this author so much, and I learned a wealth of information from her book. Written by S.L. Osborne, it’s published by Dundurn.
